World of wine, wine growers

World of wine has been created mainly to endorse wines of the top quality from both domestic and foreign production. This webpage are run by Vindemia company ltd. which specializes in luxurious French wine produced in the Burgundy region.

Winegrowers whose wines you can find here:

Alain Hasard  a Isabelle Hasard

Aluze, Côte Challonaise, Côte du Couchois, Mercurey, Rully, Francie

Wines produced by Alaina Hasard and his wife (in the picture), has been made according to principles of Biodynamics  for long time. Those principles include basicly growing the vines organically,   that means without use of any chemicals or chemical enhancements of both soil and the plants themselves. Since Alain and Isabelle Hasard has moved recently and had to buy new vineyards in Mercurey and Rully regions, they are not allowed to use the full benefit of the"Agriculture biologique" brand. This brand can only be used after one follows the principles on particular vineyard for at least three years, so we can all look forward to the wines from year 2009 and forth which will bear this brand. All wines they produce and their production methods are carefully supervised by Ecocert company, which supervises all organic production in France. The Vindemia Company ltd. is the exclusive importer of those wines for Czech Republic.

„I met Alain and Isabelle Hasard in 2002 during vintage. I fell in love with wine back then and I have been interested in it ever since. I have had opportunity to participate in many vintages with many different wine-growers, but I have never encountered such careful and meticulous procedures and respectful attitude as I did with Alain. Working for Alain is very hard, you need to pick each and every grape carefully and maintain very strict health code at the same time. Alain is anything but „ordinary“ wine-grower and you can tell that by just one sip of his wonderful and high quality wine. I can highly recommend his wines.“  ing. Ondřej Čada

Gamay, Commune de Saint-Aubin, Côte d´Or, Francie

Jean-Jacque Morel

Jean-Jacque Morel (in the picture, between) was making Japanese swords for living many years. Oriental philosophy, respect for all things living or not, is strong part of his life. Right after he had met his contemporary life partner, Francoise Pulnot, he decided to focus on plant growing. This resulted in his first wine production in 2001. His wines are full of life, mild, and flavoured like wild fruits, last but no least they are influenced by the region in which they grow and it is one of the finest in Burgundy, Côte d´Or.

"Jean-Jacque Morel is concerned a lot with the sesnsation of wine. When I first discussed the possibility of importing his wines to Czech Republic with him, he was very pleased that he could sell his wines with the help of our company, in other words, people who are really involved in the process. He says he hopes that maybe his philosophy, and not only the taste and bouquet, will get through to our customers. Wines produced by this particular wine-grower are truly wonderful, they contain a bit more alcohol but are definitely worth tasting anyway!“  ing. Ondřej Čada

Miroslav Mikulica, Velké Pavlovice - Jan Hempl, Vinařství pod horou, Bořetice

We have experienced increasing demand for Moravian wines, which are more affordable, from our clients recently. That is exactly why we have decided to go to Velké Pavlovice and visit 10 wine-growers from that region. In the end, we have chosen the above mentioned two wine-growers, whose wine we found the most interesting. Both vineyards are small, yet exceptional. We are looking forward to your replies and feedback. We hope that you will enjoy the wine as much as we did. Founders

ing. Ondřej Čada

He graduated at University of Economics in Prague, Faculty of International Relations, but he had developed his passion for French culture even earlier at prestigious French High School in Prague. It was the place where he learned not only French language, but also to admire French culture and all that is part of it. He has met and kept many good friends, including Alain Hasard, respected wine-grower and sommelier, and his wife Isabell, during his many visits to France. He started to visit France regularly during his studies at University of Economics in Prague. He had been invited by Mr. Hasard to come for vintage every year, which allowed him to be part of the process of wine gathering and wine making and has even deepened his passion for wine and the whole Burgundy region. Close friendship that ties Ondřej Čada with Alain Hasard and Jean Jacque Morel respectively, will certainly have positive effect on our cooperation and will hopefuly help wine loving people in Czech Republic to enjoy the wine.

„Our company does not import just „French Wine“, I personally took part in gathering of all vintages we sell and helped making some of them. I would like to assure you of the careful selection of the best grapes and strict health code. I could find that kind of attitude only with these two wine-growers and not only for that reason, we have decided to import these particular wines. I will gladly answer any questions you might have and if I am not certain of the answer, I can ask the producers themselves, they are my personal friends. I truly hope that close relationship between our company and the wine-growers will positively affect your experiences from the wine.“ ing. Ondřej Čada

ing. Luboš Bernat

He got to know top sommeliers from Czech Republic during his studies at The Institute of Hospitality Management, where he majored in management. That has deepend his interest in wine and eno-gastronomy. He has improved his knowledge of wine culture by participaticng on many seminars and wine tastings, which included evaluation of wine, ever since. After some time, he realized the absence of certain kinds of wine on the Czech market, which is basically orientated on fast profit that comes from selling cheap and overpriced wines. His business experience soon led him to decide to import wines on his own.
